Event Detail

Due to COVID, OSCR for 2021 will be a no registration, no fee, barebones, self-timed event. The ski club will groom and mark the 25k course, there will be no aid stations or support and racers will time themselves, writing their times in a notebook that will be posted at the start/finish. 50k racers will ski two laps. Skiers may start any time after 8:00 a.m on Saturday or Sunday. When you finish your race, write your name and time in the notebook, we'll compile the results into a spreadsheet and post it on the Seeley Lake Nordic website. That's it. No chili feed, no raffle, no awards, no nuthin' except personal satisfaction. We couldn't see cancelling OSCR after all these years, but we didn't want to stage a super spreader event, either, and this is our solution. OSCR has been a major fund raiser for the club over the years and we would appreciate any donation you care to leave in the metal ranger by the Forest Service kiosk.
